Our CEO and Founder of Mama Sunni's has a passion for childcare. With a degree in education and over 7 years of experience working for the Central Florida YMCA as a Child Development Coordinator. Shawnc'e Smith took her passion in-home and opened a state license home daycare in the state of Florida in 2013. Providing childcare services and education for the children in the Pinehills community. Shawnc'e later found herself in Scotts Pass Jamaica in 2016 where her passion for childcare and education ignited. 

Shawnc'e quickly noticed the limited amount of tools and resources available for the people in Jamaica. After spending weeks with the children of Scott's Pass Jamaica. Shawnc'e felt obligated to extend her work abroad. Only after 1 year of learning of the condition of the resources.  Mama Sunni's was able to raise enough funds to send Back to School back packs filled with school supplies and hygiene essentials to the students in Scott's Pass Jamaica

In the year 2018 Mama Sunni's also sent Kwanzaa Kare Packages to the Children in Scotts's Pass Jamaica in December. In addition to sending "Back to School" Backpacks in August.
